Dr. Panos Gikas, BSc(Hons) MBBS(Hons) MD(Res) PhD FRCS, is a celebrated orthopaedic consultant located in North London, specializing in joint reconstruction, replacement and treatment of bone and soft tissue cancer. He has over the years managed complex hip and knee surgeries and carried out stem cell transplantation.

Education, Training & Research

Dr. Panos Gikas acquired his first two professional degrees in London – BSc in Medical Genetics at the University of London (First class honours) and MBBS at St George’s University (First class honours). He later obtained a Ph.D. in General Surgery from the University of Athens and MD(Res) in Orthopaedic Surgery from the University of London.

He completed his clinical fellowship in Trauma and Orthopaedics at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Dr. Panos Gikas specializes in orthopedic care with key areas of interest being anterior approach to hip replacement, hip and knee reconstructive surgery. He is widely experienced in knee arthroscopy and stem cell transplants of damaged bones and soft tissues.
